Safeline™ Sterilising Foil

Sterilization foil on rolls

 

Sterilization foil used to safely package and protect medical instruments during sterilization processes, such as steam sterilization (autoclaving), ethylene oxide (ETO) sterilization. The foil creates a barrier that prevents microorganisms from entering, thus maintaining the sterile state of the contents until the moment of use.

The foil is made of medical paper and plastic film. The process indicator ink printed on the medical paper shows a color change after the foil is exposed to steam or ethylene oxide. The ends of the foil should be sealed with a sealing device, which permanently closes the edges and protects the contents from contamination.
